Spring and Summer Vehicle Maintenance

Spring is a time of fresh starts and renewals! Extend the "spring cleaning" you give your home and garden to your vehicle. Not only will you improve the vehicle's performance, but it will lengtehn its life. Below are tasks that you can perform on your own.

Clean your vehicle! Vacuum the carpeting, Windex the windows, and wipe off the headlights with a soft, damp rag. Wash and wax your vehicle to remove winter salt and grime and protect the finish.
Check your tires, including the spare. Let them cool down before checking the pressure.
Inspect all lights and bulbs, and replace any that are burned out.
Replace worn wiper blades and always have plenty of washer fluid on hand to combat summer's dust and insects.
